Meet Our Team
Jay Readyhough bought Bay Realty in 1981. He was 27 years old. He had one agent. He had big dreams and a good idea of how to make them happen.
You see, Jay believed that good things would happen if he surrounded himself with good people. He reasoned that the way to guarantee long-term success was to hire people in it for the long-term. He decided that the best way to build a business that would serve the community was to hire people that were truly dedicated to that community.
He was right.
You may never have the occasion to meet Georgina Lacy at Bay Realty. But she will be one of the major reasons your experience at Bay Realty is guaranteed to be top-notch.
An integral part of the company since 1988, there are few things she hasn't done or can't do. Her title is Sales and Office Manager but no title can accurately describe her duties.
Georgina is the glue. She sets the tone for professionalism, and buys toner for the copier. She balances the books, she reviews Competitive Market Analyses. She fixes computer problems. She pays the bills.
All while never missing a beat in giving her clients the utmost individual attention.
Her experience makes Georgina an essential sounding board for the nuances of the real estate process. Her commitment to the company and support to our agents is invaluable. Another reason you can trust your investment in Bay Realty.

Marnee's custom designed wildlife tee shirts have been featured in zoos and aquariums across the nation. Through ingenuity, creativity and a head for business she created a phenomenal success story.
But Marnee's name is more recognized for a different kind of phenomenal success story. She is Mom to three incredible golfers - Mary Ellen, Lauren, and Anna Grzebien. It wasn't easy. There were years and years of countless miles traveling the country in a conversion van, from tournament to tournament. They paid off. All three earned full college scholarships and achieved national recognition.
Now, the conversion van is just a memory. And a greeting card company handles the distribution of her designs internationally. And Marnee's considerable focus is full-time on real estate at Bay Realty. It's the kind of focus and drive toward excellence that makes things happen. Find out for yourself.

My first experience with Bay Realty was in 2006 when our family moved to South County. We located a true professional who helped us skillfully negotiate our purchase, and confidently make the transition to our new home and community; additionally, she opened our eyes to all South County had to offer. When we had questions, we got answers.
So when I decided to rejoin the workforce, I remembered my introduction to South County, and the personal attention and warm welcome we received. I also remembered the dedication, and guidance that made our purchase a truly gratifying experience. I wanted to be part of that.
Now it's my turn to give real estate guidance and to share my knowledge about all of the things that I've grown to love about our area. I'm committed to giving back to our community in a number of ways - the schools (including my role as a Past President of the Parent Teacher Organization for Peace Dale School), local charities, and South County Hospital, just to name a few.
Bay Realty's experienced and enthusiastic team of professionals has a long established record of success and a reputation for honesty and attention to detail. I'm proud to be a member of this group, and know that when you, or someone you know, seek help or advice regarding the purchase or sale of real estate, that I will be able to provide you with the answers you'll need, and offer you the guidance you deserve.

When Jack joined Bay Realty, it was a homecoming of sorts. Real estate - South County real estate - was the business he grew up with. His parents ran a real estate firm from home. His childhood memories include late night phone calls, hand-shakes and sales agreements.
Throughout the better part of a successful twenty-five year career in sales and marketing, Jack always kept a hand in the business - representing property along Narragansett Bay.
Hard work put him in a position to make the move to full time real estate with Bay Realty - a firm that embodied the traditional values he knew as a child. Hard work. Honesty. The trust and bond embodied in a handshake.
When you have a passion for what you do, it shows.
